The Q5’s comfortable lead in the Canadian luxury vehicle market continues, with 1,152 sales in August marking it 200 registrations ahead of the next-placed Mercedes-Benz C-Class. There was impressive 72% growth year-on-year for the middle sibling in Audi’s SUV line up when compared with August 2016.
Combine sales of the BMW 3-Series with its coupé-bodied brethren the 4-Series and it slots into 2nd, ahead of the C-Class, though the Q5 would still be ahead by more than 50 sales in August.
Notably, almost double the amount of Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class SUVs have hit the roads of Canada so far in 2017 as had to date this time last year. This comes as Mercedes-Benz reports a steady increase in demand for its offering in Canada, as reflected with four of the three-pointed star’s models taking spots in our Top-20 luxury vehicles countdown.
