Our Take On The Top 20 Best Selling Car Sales Numbers

Compact cars rose to the top by and large in Canada in September.

Kia will be hoping it can join the likes of the Covic, Corolla and Elantra towards the upper levels of the top-20 best-selling Canadian passenger cars as its redesigned, technology-focused Forte begins to hit the market.

Tesla’s climbing Model 3 swept aside its rivals in the premium passenger car market as many others saw sales fall – the Mercedes-Benz C-Class was the only other luxury car to make the top-20 in September.

The Honda Accord rose above the floodwaters at the Celaya plant in Mexico which hit many of the brand’s other models hard in Canada through September. Last month was the Accord’s best of the year so far – its best in fact since June 2017.
