Best Selling Small SUVs in Canada for November 2017
Here you will find the Small SUV sales leaders in Canada for November 2017. Each month we compile the Small SUV sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below.
It’s fairly close at the top of the Small SUV sales chart. Year-to-date, 2,279 sales separate the Honda CR-V from the Toyota RAV4. The past few months have seen the CR-V post significant growth year-on-year, with this month’s 36.3% increase no exception.
It is possible that the CR-V could topple the RAV4 in the year-to-date standings to be Canada’s top-selling small SUV for 2017, but that now relies on the Honda having an even better December than November, and the RAV4’s sales taking something of a nose dive.
The competition between the pair, and the return to the fore of the Ford Escape (incidentally second for November despite 10.6% drops over last year) has helped push the small SUV market to 6.25% growth.
In the tall hatch and crossover chart, the Kia Soul holds on to second place year-to-date, despite strong showings from rivals from Subaru and Mazda.
The Subaru Crosstrek and Mazda CX-3 have both been on a growth streak of late, and both are now within 1,000 sales of the Soul’s year-to-date figure.
The Nissan Qashqai sits a comfortable sixth in the Canadian year-to-date standings, even though it has only been on sale since May. It will be a big contender in this segment in 2018.
