Our Take On The Small And Midsize Luxury SUVs Sales Numbers
Triumphant in both the compact and midsize luxury SUV classes, Lexus can start 2018 happy with their efforts the year before.
Though the RX slid 1% year-to-date in the year that ended last month, the NX ended the year with an 8.1% increase in sales.
Sales-wise, both remain peerless in their segments, with the NX’s nearest rival, the Acura RDX, over 8,000 units below, and in the case of the RX, more than 40,000 sales separate it from the Cadillac XT5 in second place in the midsize segment.
An all-new Acura RDX built on a brand-new platform developed in America for the first time, which will be unveiled this month, could shake things up at the top of the table in 2018 and 2019.
