Our Take On The Small and Midsize Luxury Cars Sales Numbers
Mercedes-Benz’s marginal increase year-on-year for October was not down to the C-Class. The company’s executive saloon still tops the models chart in the Small Luxury Vehicles category, though is usurped by combined 3- and 4-Series sales from BMW.
The 4-Series had a great October to go third in the monthly standings; year-on-year it’s up 11.5%, and YTD it has 8.5% of the Small Luxury vehicle market in the States.
After topping the Midsize Luxury Car chart last month, the Lexus ES slid to third after competition between the Mercedes-Benz E & CLS-Class and the resurgent BMW 5-Series muscled it out.
