Our Take On The Small and Midsize Luxury Cars Sales Numbers

Small and midsize luxury car sales have dipped over the first six months of 2017, with small luxury cars down by 10.3% year-to-date so far, and midsize luxury cars down by 2.48%.

Few big sellers in the small luxury sales chart have made any headway; while the Audi A5 has seen sales double year-to-date and the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class has experienced a boost of 37.8%, the top-selling marques in the segment have seen steep decreases in sales, as small luxury crossovers and SUVs – from many of the brands below – elbow their way into increasing market share.

June saw sales half for the sedan-focused Genesis luxury brand, with the G80’s volume for the month sliced down the middle in the midsize luxury passenger car sales chart.
