Fierce competition at the top end of the table has helped the Canadian SUV market go 7.7% up on itself year-to-date, an increase of almost 56,000 sales overall.
Just 772 sales separate the Honda CR-V from toppling the Toyota RAV4 to finish 2017 as the SUV market leader for Canada.

A 36.3% shot-in-the-arm for the CR-V put it almost 900 sales ahead of the Toyota for the month, relegating this segment’s traditional leader, the Ford Escape, to third place yet again.
The Escape failed to make it three months in a row of consecutive growth for the quarter since the end of August, going 10.6% down on last November’s sales.
The Jeep Wrangler’s resurgence continued, the 4×4 going 64.9% up on last November’s sales. It now sits 8.4% adrift of last year’s year-to-date total to the end of November.
