Our Take On The Minivan Sales Numbers

Minivan sales slid further in June 2018, with the Dodge Grand Caravan at the top of the chart seeing its sales halved compared with the same month in 2017.

The deficit for the first six months of the year is not all down to the Grand Caravan however. The absence of the Mazda 5 from the numbers below has left its own gap in the numbers, as the field thins yet further while crossovers are pretty much sold by the pound.

Year-on-year, only one minivan nameplate saw any kind of improvement; the Chrysler Pacifica’s performance improved by 37.7% on last June.
