Growth of sales of the recently-launched fifth-generation Honda Odyssey continues, as the figures for the month of June show the Canadian Minivan market weathering the crossover coup, but only just managing to stay ahead of last year’s June YTD. By June 2016, eight less minivans had been sold than by the end of June 2017.
With the Town & Country now all but done with for Chrysler, its Pacifica replacement seems to be making progress in the Canadian market, as the US brand aims to push its newest minivan upmarket with more luxury interiors.
Mazda’s ageing 5 minivan sees strong sales, despite the manufacturer’s switch in focus to the profitable and extremely popular crossover section.
