Minivan Sales In America – June 2017

Chrysler’s replacement for the Town & Country is the main success story in the minivan segment, with sales lifting greatly on last year’s figures. Bargain hunters on the lookout for a deal who are quite happy to snap up last year’s model at a lower price continue to pick away at remaining stock of the outgoing Town & Country.

A single Mazda 5 left the showroom in June 2017, after production was stopped almost 2 years ago. This is a sector that has taken heavy blows in recent years, with the crossover craze seeing buyers who seek the image of a higher-riding psuedo-SUV but can live without any off-road accoutrements flock to buy cars like the Nissan Rogue.

You can click any model name in the tables below to find historical monthly and yearly U.S. auto sales data. You can also select a make and model at GCBC’s Sales Stats page. This table is sortable, so you can rank minivans any which way you like. Suggestions on how GCBC should break down segments can be passed on through the Contact page. Mobile users can now thumb across the table to access the full width.
