Our Take On The Minivan Sales Numbers

Canada’s Minivan market outperformed last November by 3.3%, though year-to-date sales are down 2.4% overall.

This is a market that is somewhat reliant on its key player, the Dodge Grand Caravan. Sales of the Grand Caravan have fluctuated in Canada throughout 2017, though overall it still makes up 53% of all minivan sales for 2017.

This month was edged into growth by strong performances by three mid-field players – the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and Chrysler Pacifica all posted strong growth for November, their combined efforts outweighing losses for the Kia Sedona, Mazda 5 and the aforementioned Dodge.
