Here you will find the Minivan sales leaders in the United States for January 2018. Each month we compile the minivan model sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below.
January sees the minivan market almost breaking even in terms of sales volume, with strong gains for the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica help to balance out the drops in sales for every other nameplate in this segment.
The Pacifica posted a 21% year-on-year increase over last January, marking the nameplate’s best ever start to a year. Between its two nameplates in this countdown (three, if you count the contribution of the outgoing Chrysler Town and Country), FCA products account for 54% of the minivan market to start 2018.
Kia’s Sedona bottoms out the sales figure chart in terms of models currently in production; its sales fell 32.2% year-on-year for January, with a refreshed model on the way that should rejuvenate its sales somewhat.
