Our Take On The Midsize SUV Sales Numbers
Having rock-crawled its way to the top of the midsize SUV pile in Canada, the Jeep Wrangler looks determined to stay there. Year-to-date, it has trebled its sales, with over 10,000 Wranglers being sold in Canada in the first three months of 2018.
In the race of the rest, the Ford Explorer and Ford Edge duo took the crowns for three- and two-row SUVs respectively in Canada for March.
Year-to-date, the jeep Grand Cherokee holds on to the third podium spot in the chart, with the Edge over 200 units behind it for quarter one 2018.
But growth so far this year for those models and the Nissan Murano, Kia Sorento, Subaru Outback, Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Traverse, Hyundai Santa Fe XL, GMC Acadia, Mazda CX-9 and Buick Enclave and the addition of 1824 sales from the Volkswagen Atlas propelling large SUV sales in Canada for the first three months of 2018 ahead by 20%.
