The Top 287 Best Selling Vehicles in America – March 2018 YTD
Here you will find the YTD Vehicle sales leaders in the United States for March 2018 YTD. Each month we compile passenger car sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below.
Vehicle sales in the USA increased over the course of the first quarter of 2018 by almost 2% year-to-date.
Some big players had strong months in March, which certainly helped. America’s top-selling vehicle, the Ford F-Series has seen sales grow 4.3% year-to-date, while the Nissan Rogue – third last month after outselling the Ram Pickup again in March to be America’s favorite SUV for the month – has sold more almost 15% more units than it did a year ago.
This growth movement is mainly being seen in the SUV, crossover and light truck segments; although the leading player in the passenger car segment, the Toyota Camry, is experiencing a bit of a resurgence at the moment, great swathes of passenger cars saw sizeable chunks of their sales from previous years cut away yet again in March.
The SUV and crossover market, in contrast, increased its market share once again for the month of March to 46.4% of all vehicle sales.
