Our Take On The Large SUVs Sales Numbers

With only three large SUV nameplates having reported figures for the month of July in this segment so dominated by models from General Motors brands, it is hard to get a full picture of how the market as a whole fared in July.

Of the SUVs below, none posted year-on-year growth and only one – the Nissan Armada – has shown any improvement year-to-date.

The Ford Expedition may not have improved on last July’s performance, but the blue oval’s combined pickup, van and SUV offering as a whole posted a 4.8% year-on-year increase for July – partly helped by the growing popularity of the Expedition-based luxury SUV the Lincoln Navigator.
