Our Take On The Large Luxury SUVs Sales Numbers

Demand for full-size luxury SUVs fell by 10.7% in January 2017, with all models having reported except the Bentley Bentayga.

This drop comes following an especially strong January last year, with some notable midfielders posting significant drops: the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class is down 28%; sales of the Range Rover fell by 55%; the Lexus NX saw sales dip 31.8%.

It’s not all doom and gloom in the middle of the large luxury SUV standings however – sales of the Lincoln Navigator are up 97.5% on the first month of last year, with Ford reporting a 131.7% growth in retail sales of the nameplate.
