Our Take On The Large Luxury Car Sales Numbers

The Porsche Panamera makes it three months in a row of sales being above 100 units in Canada, though May was actually a 7.7% year-on-year drop for the sporty luxury car.

That still puts it ahead of most of the large luxury market for the month of May, though for the year so far the Mercedes-Benz S-Class continues to dominate.

Estimates for the Tesla Model S continue to suggest healthy growth for the all-electric sedan.

Overall, the Canadian large luxury passenger car sector’s sales grew at a rate of 3.16% year-on-year in May.
