Our Take On The Large Luxury Car Sales Numbers
Large Luxury Car sales in Canada stayed mostly flat in terms of volume for 2018. For December, there was a significant decrease in sales of 288 units. That might not seem like much, but December of 2017 saw only 521 sales.
The flat sales for the 2018 year were managed due to sales increases by three models. The Porsche Panamera, Lexus LS, and BMW 6-Series. All of the other seven models in the segment saw sales decreases on the year.
For the month of December, the Porsche Panamera and Genesis G90 were the only cars that posted significant sales increases.
It’s reasonable to expect the three high sellers for the year to have similar sales in 2019, but only time will tell.
