Our Take On The Large Luxury Car Sales Numbers

Estimates for Tesla’s sales for the month make the Model S Canada’s bestselling Large Luxury Vehicle for October by far, and suggest that almost half this market is on pure electric power this month.

Behind Elon Musk’s contribution sits the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which also maintains 2nd-place in the Year-To-Date column for this segment. In fact, the S-Class outsold combined sales of its main competitors, the BMW 7-Series, 6-Series and Audi A8.

The Porsche Panamera was Canada’s third best-selling Large Luxury Car in October, increasing its sales year-on-year by 60% and continuing a strong run.
