Here you will find the Large Car sales leaders in Canada for July 2018. Each month we compile the Large car sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below.
The two top-selling models by volume for 2018 so far in the large car segment are both from FCA.
Last month, FCA had its worst month of sales since 2014.
Large car sales struggled in July 2018, with overall totals hampered by difficulties for both the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 (down 22.8% and 71.4% respectively year-on-year) among others that saw the market finish the month down 18.3% on last year’s totals. For the year so far, Canadians have bought 3.9% fewer full-size sedans than 2017 to this point.
The steepest year-on-year loss by volume didn’t come from either of the FCA models in the below chart however; that dubious honour goes to the Chevrolet Impala, which slashed 87 sales from the segment’s bottom line.
Sales lost in this sector are clearly not going to more successful rivals within it; the top-selling Ford Taurus only increased its sales by two units year-on-year, while an extra twelve were snared by the Toyota Avalon compared with July 2018.
