The Chevrolet Impala and Nissan Maxima let the way in terms of sales volume and both models saw significant increases. Another model that saw a significant increase in sales was the Toyota Avalon, though it’s sales volume was much lower than the segment leaders.
The other five models in the segment all saw double-digit decreases in sales. These declines are what kept the massive sales increases for the Impala, Maxima, and Avalon from dramatically increased sales for the entire segment over this time last year.
