Salubrious growth in the Canadian van sector sees both Small / Midsize and Full Size posting year-on-year growth – the former by almost 20%.

Overall, sales of Commercial Vans in Canada are up year-to-date, though the full size segment is carrying the small / midsize in the annual stakes at present.

A surge of sales for the Ford E-Series made a welcome contribution to full-size van sales this month, while the Mercedes-Benz Metris brings an explosion of sales, going 200% up year-on-year.

Year-to-date, the Mercedes also helps to compensate the commercial van segment overall for steep losses from the Ram ProMaster City.
