Although sales of full-size SUVs rose 33% in Canada in June 2013, the category is still down 9% this year as January-May sales fell 17%.

Nevertheless, June 2013 volume was 12% better than May volume; 203 units better than June 2012’s results.
GM’s market share in the category grew to 62.6% from 27.9% a year ago; from 61.1% a month ago.
Canada’s top-selling large SUV continued to be the Ford Expedition. So far this year, the Expedition accounts for 22.1% of the segment’s 3696 sales.
