Here you will find the rankings of all the major automotive brands and corporations selling vehicles in the Canada market. Each month we compile the sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below. September sees the Canadian auto market go from strength to strength, with sales up almost 11,000 vehicles versus the same month a year ago.
With three months left in the year, it seems unlikely that sales of all vehicles in Canada will fail to make the 2 million mark for the first time, a fine way to mark a fifth consecutive year of record high volume across the market.
Toyota/Scion raised its share above the 10% mark for the month, as sales rose by an impressive 16% year-on-year.
Many of the red spots on this month’s brand ranking chart are for brands under Fiat Chrysler Automotive; Fiat, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep all saw significant drops year-on-year, mirroring a similarly bleak picture a year ago for FCA. Jeep and Chrysler fell significantly, by 28 and 33% respectively.
