Our Take Brand & Corporation Rankings
Defining the trend across the Canadian new vehicle market in July was FCA, with sales down 33% for the Detroit-based automaker.
Substantial year-on-year drops at the Jeep brand contributed to the backslide for FCA, though Dodge’s sales took a beating too – they’re down 45.6% year-on-year.
FCA’s dip comes off the back of 14 consecutive months of declining sales, with last month marking the automaker’s worst month of sales since 2014.
Overall, auto sales in Canada were down 7.8% year-on-year in July.
