Each month we compile the sales data and reports for North American markets and analyze it to create the best selling list below. Note that the data trickles in throughout the day early in the month and we will update you in real time as we get the data.

Unlike in the US market, General Motors Canada continues to report its sales on a monthly basis, meaning we can bring you a full breakdown of the Canadian vehicle sales market for the month of April.
GM remains the top automaker in Canada for the year so far, though Ford Motor Company sold the most cars in April. This time last year, GM was revelling after a 16% year-on-year increase for the month. For April 2018, sales dropped 4.6%, though still above April 2016.
Ford remains far-and-away the biggest-selling brand in Canada, with little change to the established order in the top five brands.
Nissan this time last year were seventeenth overall in the brand charts. The popularity of the Japanese brand’s range with Canadian buyers is testament to the fact that last month it was the fifth-best selling brand.
