For the first time this year, something other than a pickup truck cracked the top two: Honda’s Civic outsold Chrysler Canada’s Ram pickup by a 322-unit margin.
The Civic and Ford F-Series, Canada’s best-selling vehicle line in August and always, accounted for more than one out of every ten new vehicle sales last month.

The Town & Country ended August as Canada’s second-best-selling minivan, 2618 sales back of its Dodge Grand Caravan twin but 205 sales ahead of the third-best-selling minivan, the Toyota Sienna. The 32nd-ranked Sienna leads the T&C by 1219 sales through the first two-thirds of 2013.
Compared with the July edition of this list, the Nissan Sentra, Hyundai Sonata, and Kia Sorento have been knocked off. Replacing that trio: Ford’s surging Fiesta, the aforementioned Chrysler minivan, and Nissan’s smaller Versa.
