Our Take On The Pickup Truck Sales Numbers

Pickup truck sales in the month of February didn’t do as well this time last year. With that said, the YTD sales are up.

There’s few surprises when it comes to the models. Everything’s in the same place as it was last year. This means that while the volume for the segment in February may have changed, the distribution between models is essentially the same.

The monthly and the YTD numbers actually look quite different. In the YTD category, the top four selling pickup trucks actually sale sales percentage increases. The GMC Sierra especially saw a major jump.

However, there were some notable sales decreases for the YTD numbers. The Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Titan both saw sales percentage decreases over 22 percent.
