Our Take On The Minivan Sales Numbers

Minivan sales in Canada didn’t look too bad. They were down overall by a few hundred sales but three of the five models actually saw sales percentage increases.

The Dodge Grand Caravan was the sales leader for the segment and managed the second largest percentage increase over this time last year. The big percentage increase for the month of February was the Kia Sedona.

The Honda Odyssey and Chrysler Pacifica both saw big dips in sales. The Honda dropped by over 41 percent and the Chrysler dropped by over 61 percent.

For the most part, YTD sales percentage increases and decreases were similar with the exception of the Dodge Grand Caravan, which was actually down over 19 percent.
