large luxury suv sales

Despite five of the nine large luxury SUV models on sale for the month seeing declines in sales, the segment was up by about 1,800 units. When you look YTD, the segment YTD was up 11,000 units. Leading the pack in terms of overall sales was the Cadillac Escalade. Despite it being in the number one spot, the vehicle saw a roughly 12 percent decrease from this month last year. When you look YTD, the vehicle was down roughly four percent. The BMW X7 and the Infiniti QX80 weren’t far behind the Cadillac. The X7 doesn’t have any historical data to compare it to because it’s a new model, but the QX80 has seen a rise of about 57 percent for the month and 19 percent YTD. It will be interesting to see if the sales rises continue as the year progresses. We would assume they would.
