US Minivan Sales Figures By Model

The GCBC Analysis

The minivan segment has been on a downside for months. Without FCA’s numbers included here, you cant get the full picture, but it looks like the segment saw a significant drop for the month of July and has continued to have a very rough year.

All three of the models represented below saw sales decline for the month of July. They also sales decline when you look at the YTD numbers.

Again, with FCA’s models added into the mix, there would be two more models to discuss.

We fully expect these kinds of numbers to continue in the coming months. The segment has been trending down for months, and more people are turning to SUVs and crossovers and away from the more practical minivan. It will be interesting to see how low sales go.

Below you will find sales figures for all minivans sold in the United States broken down by month and by quarter.

We will report July 2019 Automotive Sales beginning on Thursday, August 1st, 2019, beginning around 10 AM ET.

GCBC is also happy to announce that we will be adding quarterly sales reports and comparisons in addition to monthly sales comparisons beginning this quarter. We will also be adding monthly sales tables and charts to the mix as well.

Note: FCA US LLC will end its practice of reporting U.S. and Canada sales on a monthly basis following June results. FCA US and FCA Canada will report monthly sales for May and June. The first quarterly report will occur on October 1, 2019, covering the months of July, August, and September.
