Our Take On The Top 30 Best-Selling Vehicle Sales Numbers

This time last year, the Ford F-Series was sitting pretty atop the sales charts after a 10% year-on-year increase in its sales.

You won’t be surprised that it remains atop the US top-30 vehicles in terms of sales for March 2018, and once again increased its sales on a year ago.

Last month’s sales made it the best month since the year 2000, with its lead to the next best-seller for the month, the Chevrolet Silverado, standing at almost 35,000 units.

SUVs continue to exert upward pressure on the sales table as well. The Nissan Rogue displaced the Ram Pickup to take third place again in March, and while the Toyota RAV4 finished the month behind the Toyota Camry, the pair are split by just 327 sales, with the RAV4 on an upward trajectory, growing its sales by 9.1%, and the Camry’s sales having fallen 1.1% for the month.

The Chevrolet Equinox, with a 40.9% year-on-year increase in sales, gained two placed to sit eighth compared with February. The Jeep Wrangler is on the doorstep of a top-10 spot during its record-breaking run of sales months.
