Top 11 Best-Selling Pickup Trucks In America – August 2017

Toyota sold almost 2,000 more of its Tacoma pickup than last August, pushing the third-generation of the pickup almost 2% ahead of its performance to the same point in 2016, and knocking the GMC Sierra down to fifth place in our table.

The brand’s Tundra pickup isn’t faring quite as well; despite being up on August 2016’s performance, and topping 10k sales for the third time in a single month in 2017, the Tundra is 1.1% behind 2016’s YTD for August. An updated Tundra is on the way for 2018 – will this refresh help pick sales up for Toyota’s full-sized pickup?

You can click any model name in the table below to find historical monthly and yearly U.S. sales data. You can also select a make and model at GCBC’s Sales Stats page. This table is now sortable, so you can rank pickup trucks any which way you like. Mobile users can now thumb across the table for full-width access. July best seller lists for cars and SUVs will be published soon.
