Top 20 Best-Selling Cars In America – July 2017

The Honda Civic takes the top spot in USA car sales for the month of July, outselling its next closest rival by almost 3,000 cars.

The top-10 all failed to best the previous year’s Year-to-Date figures, with only the Civic and the Hyundai Elantra managing to stay within 5% of 2016.

In fact only three cars in this top-20 are ahead of where they were at this point in 2016. The Subaru Impreza, which received a redesign earlier in the year when production was also shifted to Lafayette, Indiana reports unprecedented growth in sales, with 15,000 more cars leaving dealers YTD than by the start of August last year.

Historical monthly and yearly sales figures for any of these best-selling cars can always be accessed through the dropdown menu at GCBC’s Sales Stats page, and for those not viewing the mobile version of this site, near the top right of this page, as well. Mobile users can now thumb across the table for full-width access. GoodCarBadCar has already published the list of America’s best-selling trucks and best-selling SUVs in July 2017.
