Top 20 Worst-Selling Vehicles In America – 2016 Year End


They are, or at least were, perfectly mainstream vehicles. Every month, on average, more than 2500 American individuals, businesses, and government agencies drove home in each of these vehicles.

But they all sold far more often in 2015 than in 2016. From the discontinued Chrysler 200, Dodge Dart, and Chrysler Town & Country to the increasingly inactive Ford Fiesta and Chevrolet Sonic through to the new Hyundai Elantra and the award-winning Mazda 6, sales of these 20 vehicles are plunging.

Vehicles which sold at least once in 2015 but not at all in 2016: Cadillac Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Acura TL, Acura ZDX, Mercedes-Benz CL-Class.
Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Rolls-Royce do not release monthly sales data. 

Only vehicles on sale at the beginning of 2016 are eligible for the list of the 20 lowest-volume vehicles in 2016.
