Only the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, which lost 19 sales year-over-year, posted a decline in the category. The top seller was Cadillac's Escalade, total sales of which jumped 51% to 171 units, 125 of which were regular-wheelbase Escalades; 46 of which were long-wheelbase Escalade ESVs.

These remain relatively low-volume players as a group, of course. Only 1.5% of the SUVs and crossovers sold in Canada so far this year are represented in the list below. Year-to-date, the top-selling GL-Class ranks 56th among utility vehicles.
