Top 20 Best-Selling SUVs In Canada - January 2016

2016 Toyota RAV4
Despite a modest 1% downturn, January 2015's top-selling SUV in Canada was the top-selling SUV in Canada in January 2016. The Toyota RAV4 outsold the surging, second-ranked Jeep Cherokee by a narrow 55-unit margin.

The Ford Escape, Canada's perennial top-selling utility vehicle and the leader in November and December, was 111 sales behind the top-ranked RAV4.

The RAV4 was one of two Toyota products in the top 16. There are  three Jeeps in the top 12, two Fords in the top 10, and three Nissans in the top 18.

The 20th-ranked Honda HR-V is a relative newcomer to the list, having cracked the top 20 before but not having been on sale one year ago at this time.

Historical monthly and yearly sales figures for any of these best-selling SUVs and crossovers can always be accessed through the dropdown menu at GCBC's Sales Stats page, and for those not viewing the mobile version of this site, near the top right of this page, as well.
