GM's quartet of volume brand full-size SUVs reported a collective 31% year-over-year Canadian sales improvement to 751 units in October 2015, equal to 71% of their segment's volume last month.

While sales of this group of truck-based, body-on-frame, full-size sport-utility vehicles are declining south of the border, unable to match the much improved pace set last year, Canadian volume continues to expand because of Chevrolet and Ford strength.

In addition to GM's Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Yukon XL, the automaker also sold 196 copies of the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV in October. Ford Canada also sold 48 Lincoln Navigators.
