Jaguar Land Rover, owned by India’s Tata Motors, will build a new factory in Nitra, Slovakia. It’s possible that this will be the build location for the new Land Rover Defender. JLR chose the Slovak location over possible locations in Poland, Hungary, and Mexico.

Remember when Subaru sold Legacy sedans, Legacy wagons, and Outback based on those Legacy wagons in North America? Like Audi, which now just sells the Allroad rather than the A4 Avant, Subaru skips the traditional wagon on this continent to go it alone with the Outback. And Subaru does so quite successfully.
