Car security ain’t what it used to be. Or maybe you need old-fashioned car security features, because if teenagers are breaking into cars owned by New York Times tech columnists with cheap, high-tech gadgets, The Club may be the only answer.

Audi USA sales are rising rapidly thanks to new entry-level models like the A3. And just in time, too.

Car & Driver describes it quite succinctly as a manual-transmission, diesel-powered performance station wagon. It’s the 2015 Ford Focus ST Diesel. It’s not your next car.

Volkswagen is recalling 230,676 Routan minivans (model year 2009 and 2010) because of a serious ignition switch issue. Says the recall notice: "Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. Road conditions or some other jarring event may cause the ignition switch to move out of the run position, turning off the engine.”

Lexus is still trying to sell cars based on the back of the LFA, a supercar which debuted in 2011 and few have ever seen. But this is a cool commercial.
