Commercial Van Sales In Canada - July 2014 YTD

In spite of Canadian sales declines from GM's big vans, the Ford Transit Connect, and Nissan NV, total commercial van sales figures jumped 8.5% in July 2014.

Ford's E-Series continued as the segment's top seller; sales jumped 20% year-over-year as the Transit slowly arrives from Kansas City. Ford's overall market share increased to 39.5% from 38.2% in July 2013.

The small trio of vans - Transit Connect, NV200, Ram C/V -  rose 11.3% to 632 units in July, or 18.7% of the overall category. The full-size group was up 10.9% to 3098 units.
