What's the purpose of linking together the vehicles mentioned below? Where else do we put them? These are the vehicles with little or no direct competition, a little bit of indirect competition at best. Rather than see other vehicles in this Graph as rivals, then, look at them as individuals.... the fringe... society's loved outcasts. Of course the Kia Soul and Nissan Cube have got to be the most cross-shopped vehicles of the group (GoodCarBadCar.net even has a section devoted to Cube vs Soul) but you'll ignore this for the purposes of including niche automobiles in the monthly rundown of Canada's Auto Sales.

based on such low sales, I thought the PT Cruiser was no longer sold in Canada, but its still on the Chrysler website and surprised there is not much in the way of incentives to move it either. I had read that 2010 will be its last year.
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought KIA Magentis sales were bad, but at least they outsold them by 7 units.
Insight fares better vs. Prius in Canada than in the states, it seems. In the states, I think about 2000 Insights were sold in April, versus 12,000 Priuses. That's like a 6:1 Prius to Insight ratio, compared to a 3:1 ratio in Canada.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Arthur. The Insight was at 1,880 in the States in April, the Prius at 12,555 as one of America's more popular cars.
