The major story in Car & Driver's June issue, however, was the comparisons between V6 and V8 versions of the Chevrolet Camaro and 2011 Ford Mustang. Regardless of engine format, the victory was captured by the Ford pony car. As alluring and evocative as the Mustang GT 5.0 is, the V6's rate of acceleration and aggressive appearance make it a potential enthusiast-led purchase for the first time in recent memory.
