0-60 IN CAR AND DRIVER JUNE 2010

31 years of tuning BMWs has done good things for Dinan. Warranties of Dinan-modified BMWs now match up with the official BMW warranty. Certain BMW dealers are authorized Dinan resellers. And Car & Driver tests Dinan cars and finds them to be very fast. Very fast, indeed. When a BMW M3 isn't quick enough, a call to Dinan fixes things up nicely.

The major story in Car & Driver's June issue, however, was the comparisons between V6 and V8 versions of the Chevrolet Camaro and 2011 Ford Mustang. Regardless of engine format, the victory was captured by the Ford pony car. As alluring and evocative as the Mustang GT 5.0 is, the V6's rate of acceleration and aggressive appearance make it a potential enthusiast-led purchase for the first time in recent memory.

11 vehicles were tested in 0-60mph runs for C/D's June 2010 issue. Each result is posted below.

  1. The big lumbering SUV is as quick as very slightly old fast cars. Muscle cars are now as quick as supercars of las year. Upside down world.
