FUEL ECONOMY IN CAR AND DRIVER JANUARY 2010

In Car & Driver's hands, one of Japan's smaller mid-size sedans, the Suzuki Kizashi, fitted with a 6-speed manual and the obligatory 4-cylinder engine, managed to guzzle fuel at the same rate as one of Japan's uglier mid-size crossovers, the Honda Accord Crosstour, a vehicle which was fully outfitted with all-wheel drive. Follow that? Yes, the Suzuki Kizashi uses the same amount of fuel as the Honda Accord Crosstour. As an aside, the testing of GoodCarBadCar.net's long-term smart fortwo has resulted in an average of 37.2 miles per gallon through the first 3,000 miles. 1. It's not just magazine testers driving crazy. the Kizashi gets 21 without all-wheel drive. subaru legacy got 25. the weight of awd is going to take the kizashi down to 19 or 20. queit sucky.
