Specific models of the ’01 Honda Accord and ’01 Honda Civic are being recalled, NHTSA says, for a problem related to the inflator module for the driver side front air bag.
3,940 Hondas have a modulator which could produce excessive internal pressure. Honda dealers will replace the air bag inflator when the Recall begins sometime in late December.
