Gutt eftermiddag, kristall inre.
Volvo wanted imaginative. Transparency would be good. Bright, light, airy, modern. You know the Swedish drill.

At the concept debut for the next S60 in Detroit this winter, be alert to the possibility that the interior will far outshine anything Volvo's exterior designers can come up with. That being said, we haven't seen the exterior teasers.
Orrefor, a Swedish glassworks firm, helped Volvo out on this crystal waterfall dashboard. Dashboard? Centre stack? Instrument panel? That sounds so terribly downmarket. Expect three things to change on the production S60: no flow into the rear passenger compartment, no crystal, and a lot less white.
